Immigration and Citizenship Agency has begun the consultation process in Mogadishu to draft a 5-year strategic plan aimed at enhancing the delivery services of the ICA.The consultation was attended by Department directors, Heads of Branches, Heads of Offices, and Senior Advisors.
H.E. Mohamed Ali Hagaa, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Internal Security, made remarks in the opening session and emphasized the importance of drafting a realistic and affordable strategic plan that can be implemented in line with national priorities.
On the other hand, Ahmed Said Mohamed, the DG of ICA Somalia, also delivered his opening remarks and highlighted the necessity of the Strategic Plan and its critical role in the innovative advancement and structural development of ICA Somalia.
This consultative meeting marks the beginning of a series of consecutive meetings aimed at consulting and collecting ideas from ICA Offices in FMS. After the consultation, the final draft of the five-year strategic plan is expected to be made, which will serve as a guide for the operations of ICA.
