The Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency of Somalia Mr. Ahmed Said Mohamed held a meeting today with the Office of Passport Printing Officers to review ongoing activities and assess the progress of passport issuance operations.

During the meeting, the Passport Printing Officers presented a detailed briefing on the department’s current workflow, challenges faced, and accomplishments achieved in recent months. The discussion highlighted the department’s dedication to ensuring timely and efficient passport processing for Somali citizens, both within the country and abroad.

The DG commended the efforts of the department and its staff for their commitment to serving the public. However, the Director-General also emphasized the importance of accelerating daily tasks to meet the growing demand for passports and improve service delivery.

The meeting concluded with a set of actionable directives aimed at streamlining operations, addressing bottlenecks, and enhancing overall efficiency in passport processing.
